Job summary

Business Needs Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Data Analyst for a 6+ month contract. The role focuses on data analysis, data integrity, and data management while supporting an automated data ecosystem in collaboration with business and IT teams.

Ideal candidates will have 7–10 years of relevant experience with Finance/Investment data, strong SQL and Power BI skills, and hands-on M Code/DAX expertise within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Hybrid work with 1–2 onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analysis/data management background.
• Experience with Finance and/or Investment data.
• Strong experience with SQL and Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with M Code and DAX.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Experience with Power Apps.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and ensure data integrity and data management.
• Support an automated data ecosystem and collaborate with business and IT teams.
• Focus on Finance and Investment data to support decision making.
• Work within a 14-person team in a hybrid Chicago environment.
