Job summary

General Motors seeks a Finance - Accounting Analyst for a rotational program designed to build the next generation of leaders in Controllership and related areas. You will work across GM’s global teams to gather data, analyze financial results, and present strategic recommendations to senior executives.

Analysts rotate roughly every 12 months through different accounting functions, with at least one major project emphasizing data gathering, analysis, and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree between December 2026 and June 2027 or CPA coursework progress/160 hours requirement
• Available to start full time in June 2027

Responsibilities

• Rotations within the Accounting Controllership function.
• Assemble data, perform analyses, and present recommendations to senior GM executives.
• Collaborate with GM’s diverse organizations to support financial integrity and efficiency.
