Job summary

General Motors (GM) invites recent graduates to join the Global Purchasing & Supply Chain (GPSC) Rotational Program. You will rotate every six months across Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain roles to build broad business capability for two years.

The program starts January or July 2027. You’ll develop commercial strategies, ensure timely delivery of parts, and collaborate across teams to drive cost efficiency and innovation while shaping GM’s future in mobility.

Qualifications

Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Packaging, Procurement/ Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Business Analytics, MIS
Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months

Responsibilities

Source key parts, systems and technologies that go into GM vehicles and future EV products.
Partner with cross-functional teams to balance cost, quality, timing and innovation with suppliers.
Plan and support vehicle production so plants have the right parts at the right time.
Use data to help manage demand, material changes and day-to-day supply chain operations.
Support inbound/outbound logistics and design logistics solutions that reduce cost and improve delivery.
Contribute to value chain, sustainability, and supplier resiliency projects.
