ADAPT of Hudson Valley seeks a Controller to lead the finance team and drive operations in line with the organization's mission.

You will oversee month-end close, review payroll and journal entries, and supervise Accounts Payable, Senior Analyst, Payroll Senior Accountant, HUD Senior Accountant, and the Director of Billing and Entitlements. Strong Excel skills are essential.

Salary range is $75,000–$100,000 with flexible hours to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a management role with supervising staff.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent interpersonal and process improvement skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports.
• Strong organizational skills and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day leadership aligned with mission and strategic plan.
• Oversee month-end close processes and journal entries.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Senior Analyst, Payroll Senior Accountant, HUD Senior Accountant, and Billing/Entitlements Director.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and policies.
• Prepare budgets and salary, pension, and CFR spreadsheets.
• Maintain liaison with agency funding sources.
• Willing to work flexible hours as needed.
• Assist in risk management and financial reporting.
