Jobot is seeking a Controller in Northshore Louisiana to lead financial reporting, treasury, and month-end close for a stable, growing financial services organization reporting to the CFO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience.
• Hands-on treasury / cash management experience.
• Strong GL and reconciliation background.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Multi-entity or multi-location experience preferred.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience preferred.
• Comfortable working onsite Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting.
• Oversee GL activity, journal entries, reconciliations, and close.
• Manage cash activity, treasury, liquidity, and banking relationships.
• Analyze financial results, trends, budgets, and variances.
• Maintain and strengthen accounting controls and procedures.
• Coordinate audit, tax, and compliance support.
• Develop management reporting and KPIs.
• Improve manual processes and reporting efficiency.
• Oversee and develop accounting team members.
• Provide support for payroll, benefits, and related administrative functions.
