Job summary

Triumph is seeking an Assistant Controller / Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive operational excellence within the Finance team in North Wales, PA. You will oversee AP, AR, GL, payroll, month-end and year-end closes, support budgeting and forecasting, and mentor staff while ensuring GAAP compliance.

A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required (CPA or CMA preferred) with 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting/finance experience; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and audit processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL maintenance, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and process clarity.
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis, cost tracking, and operational improvements.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles; monitor variances and provide actionable insights.
• Help implement and optimize financial systems, tools, and reporting automation.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; promote continuous improvement and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
