Job summary

ADDiTEC is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the complete finance and accounting function. This hands-on role covers day-to-day accounting, financial planning, manufacturing costing, and government program accounting, with a focus on scalable processes as the company grows.

The candidate will manage reporting, cost controls, audits, and compliance under US GAAP, while partnering with operations and leadership to drive strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, technology, or R&D environments preferred.
• Government contract or grant accounting experience highly desirable.
• Experience supporting financial and government audits.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or ERP accounting systems.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DCAA requirements, indirect rates, and government cost accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and cash management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Ensure internal controls and audit readiness across the organization.
