Job summary

ADDiTEC is seeking a hands-on Finance Controller to lead the company’s accounting and finance functions in the United States. You will oversee GAAP-compliant reporting, AP/AR, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and government contracts teams to ensure compliance, accurate financials, and scalable processes for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Manufacturing cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, technology, or R&D environments preferred.
• Government contract or grant accounting experience highly desirable.
• Experience supporting financial and government audits.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or ERP accounting systems.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DCAA requirements, indirect rates, and government cost accounting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, payroll accounting, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, cash management, month-end and year-end close.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, banks, and other financial partners.
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
• Develop financial models supporting company growth, hiring, manufacturing, R&D, and capital requirements.
• Provide management with clear financial KPIs and recommendations.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and COGS.
• Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Maintain accurate product costing.
• Prepare government invoices, reimbursement requests, budgets, and financial reports.
• Monitor allowable and unallowable costs.
• Support government audits and financial reviews.
• Support government proposal pricing and financial submissions.
