Job summary

GNR has been retained to confidentially identify a Finance / Accounting Controller for a well-established manufacturing organization serving Commercial & Defense programs. This hands-on leader will manage a small team and own all financial reporting, reporting directly to the Site President.

Qualifications

GNR has been retained to "Confidentially" identify a FINANCE / ACCOUNTING CONTROLLER for a well-established & growing manufacturing organization for Commercial & Defense programs.

We’re seeking an experienced “hands-on” accounting / finance leader to manage a small team & own all financial reporting for the company.

This role offers visibility, reporting directly to the Site President wherein you will take on strategic and tactical initiatives and provide financial insight to support operational objectives.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• STRONG MANUFACTURING FINANCE & ACCOUNTING background
• Understanding of cost factors associated with a MANUFACTURING environment; expenses, direct/indirect rates, overhead costs, cash, past due, WIP, inventory costs, scraps, labor, multi-year contracts etc
• Solid cost accounting & financial management, identify & implement improvements in processes, generate and report month-end closeouts, manage budgets, statistical reports, profitability, audits etc.
• Lead, mentor and grow a small finance team
• Communicate effectively & advise on financial findings to the Executive team.
• Defense accounting compliance / FAR / DFARs is a PLUS
