Job summary

Responsibilities

• Budget & Financial Support: Assist in preparing and organizing schedules for the annual budget cycle.
• Documentation & Controls: Document accounting processes, checklists, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
• File & Data Management: Support carry-forward of file structures and reference materials for year-end close and planning.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas for improving process clarity and structure.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Budget & Financial Support

• Assist in preparing and organizing schedules for the annual budget cycle.
• Help compile financial data and templates for use by department budget owners.
• Support the Controller and accounting team with mid-cycle updates and variance tracking.

Documentation & Controls

• Document accounting processes, checklists, and internal controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist in updating process maps and SOPs to align with current practices.
• Maintain a central repository of policies and templates.

File & Data Management

• Support the carry-forward of file structures and reference materials for year-end close and planning.
• Perform data clean-up and naming convention standardization in financial files.
• Help reconcile versioning of key documents between departments.
• Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas for improving process clarity and structure.
• Collaborate with peers and mentors on ad hoc projects supporting finance and accounting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Junior/Senior standing preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and file organization best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
