Carroll Institute in Sioux Falls, SD, is hiring a Finance Clerk to join the Finance Team. The role handles accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, providing essential support to the Director of Finance & HR.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with QuickBooks and Excel, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in payroll, A/R, A/P, or related areas.
• Background check including a credit check.
• Associate degree in accounting; experience with QuickBooks and Excel; insurance claims experience.
• High integrity, detail-oriented, strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable activities, follow up on overdue balances and set up repayment plans.
• Process vendor invoices, reimbursements, verify invoices and reconcile statements.
• Process bi-weekly payroll, review timekeeping, respond to payroll questions.
• Assist month-end close, journal entries, bank reconciliations and audits.
• Maintain confidentiality in line with HIPAA and accurate EHR records.
