Page Executive is partnering with a growing, private equity backed construction business to hire a Finance Business Partner for North America. This pivotal role supports senior leadership with strategic decision making, profitability optimization, and accurate forecasting.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will build financial models, lead budgeting, and provide essential performance analysis to drive growth and operational excellence across North America.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance management experience.
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence decision making and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational, commercial, and functional leadership to support strategic and financial decision making.
• Provide analysis and insights on business performance, results, and trends.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.
• Support leaders with operational and commercial reporting for actionable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.
• Conduct regular P&L reviews and performance discussions with regional stakeholders.
• Develop financial models, investment evaluations, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Translate complex financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance audiences.
• Drive accountability and data-driven decision making across the organization.

Job Description

Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Business Partner will serve as a key strategic partner to operational and commercial leaders across the North American business. This individual will provide financial insight, performance analysis, and decision support while helping the construction business optimize profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify growth opportunities.

• Partnering with operational, commercial, and functional leadership teams to support strategic and financial decision making.
• Providing analysis and insights on business performance, financial results, and emerging trends.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes.
• Delivering monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.
• Supporting business leaders with operational and commercial reporting that drives actionable outcomes.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
• Exposure to project based, construction, engineering, consulting, professional services, or similar industries preferred
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance management experience
• Commercially minded with strong business acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence decision making and challenge constructively
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high growth, evolving environment.
