Job summary

You will act as an internal consultant, improving processes, forecasting, and scenario analysis, and lead monthly close activities with cross-functional partners across the site and global functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA, CPA, Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of professional experience in a finance / controlling position preferably with exposure to manufacturing or supply chain, and experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial planning tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Strong knowledge of technical ERP workflows in production/manufacturing (SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
• Working knowledge of financial analysis, planning and forecasting principals and business investment analysis modeling (NPV, IRR, Return on investment, zero-based budgeting, operations accounting, assets, leases, operating expenses and capital expenditure).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including written, verbal, and presentation communication and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Site management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans that drive performance and productivity.
• Lead Cost Accounting and Product Costing partnering with Site management and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with MA Biologics Operations and GSQ FP&A teams for development and reporting of the annual budget, mid and long-range plans and shorter-term forecasts.
• Coordinate monthly reporting templates with MA Biologics finance and consolidations teams.
• Review monthly financial performance with business partners and provide clear explanations of deviations and risks.
• Improve forecast accuracy and provide commentary to frame assumptions and context for forecasting.
