Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; master's or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in accounting, FP&A, or related finance roles.
• Pharma/biotech industry experience, including cost accounting in operations.
• Proficient in TM1, SAP, Power BI, Tableau; strong MS Office skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer semi-annual financial planning processes and analyses.
• Develop value-added financial models and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explain variances vs. plan.
• Support deployment of financial planning system and models.
• Manage monthly close process with Takeda Business Solutions.

• Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages and analyses.

• Assist with fixed assets, asset tagging, and capital projects.
• Ensure SOX compliance and audit support.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

# **Title: Finance Business Partner Manager**# **Location: Lexington, MA** # **About the role:**As the Finance Business Partner Manager, you will work as an agile thought partner and a trusted advisor to support the Finance Business Partner(s), Site Function Heads and managers in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, as well as monthly close processes, while ensuring compliance with SOX, IFRS, and more. You will provide support continuous improvement of processes, controls, and systems/tools. You will work with multiple departments, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and R&D to help set up and determine the product costs with the responsibility to analyze, reconcile, and report out. # **How will you contribute:*** Administer semi-annual financial planning processes and provide supporting analyses to the Finance Business Partner(s), Site Function Heads and managers.* Assist in developing value-added financial models and analytical tools to support function objectives and projects.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively solve discrepancies, and with local and regional Finance teams to develop detailed explanation for variances between actual and plan.* Support the development, deployment and use of the financial planning system and financial models.* Manage the monthly financial close process and collaborate with Takeda Business Solutions to initiate entries on an ongoing basis.* Perform variance analysis such as manufacturing variances, cost revaluation, and work order variances.* Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages and analyses. Identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancement.* Educate functional management on the use of reporting tools and Finance concept.* Perform product costing analysis and support including updating product costs for the annual cost change and monthly analysis of work order variances and costing for new products where required.* Support local fixed assets, asset tagging and verification, project support and controlling needs for strategic capital projects.* Ensure SOX controls compliance and audit support where required.* Assist with and ensure successful internal and external audits.* Designated as super user on TM1 and SAP applications. # **What you bring to Takeda:*** Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, master’s or CPA preferred.* 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis, decision analytics, or related finance roles.* Experience in Pharmaceutical/ Biotech industry, including cost accounting experience in operations.* Analytical software skills (TM1, SAP, Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite –Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).* Strong communication and collaboration skills, including written, verbal, and presentation communication and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.**Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary**We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.
