Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited is seeking a Finance Business Partner Manager in Lexington, MA. The role partners with Finance Leaders and site heads to drive financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring SOX and IFRS compliance.

You will support process improvements, costing, and system enhancements across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and R&D. The position involves managing the monthly close, preparing reports, and building robust cost models.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting degree required with emphasis on analysis.
• CPA or Master’s degree preferred for advanced qualifications.
• Experience in pharma/biotech cost accounting is a plus.
• Proficient with TM1, SAP, Power BI and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer semi-annual financial planning processes and provide analyses to Finance Leaders.
• Develop value-added financial models to support objectives and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explain variances and plan differences.
• Support FP&A systems, models, and deployment across functions.
• Manage monthly close and work with Takeda BSO on entries.
• Perform variance analyses including manufacturing costs and work orders.
• Prepare monthly reports and seek process improvements.
• Educate management on reporting tools and finance concepts.
• Conduct product costing analyses and update costs for changes.
• Support fixed assets, asset tagging, and capital project controls.
• Ensure SOX compliance and audit support as needed.
• Act as TM1 and SAP super user for the organization.
