Job summary
Medix Technology is seeking a Finance & Billing Business Intelligence Developer to bridge technical analytics and healthcare financial operations. You will design, develop, and optimize data reporting solutions that support enterprise financial systems and billing workflows, translating complex data into actionable insights using SQL and BI tools.
The role collaborates with technology leads and executive finance leadership, requires on-site presence several days per week at MD/VA/PA/DE locations
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in T-SQL for querying, data extraction, and report creation.
- Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards in Power BI or Tableau or Qlik.
- Strong background in Workday Finance reporting within a healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise reports, dashboards, and analytics using T-SQL and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Develop and optimize data models to support healthcare billing, enterprise financial analysis, and strategic forecasting.
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to understand reporting requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications, and deliver accurate data solutions.
- Support ongoing enterprise system implementations and integrations, specifically supporting financial workflows and revenue cycle metrics.
- Maintain high data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with healthcare data security standards.
