Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Finance Manager to lead the automation strategy for Sub Same-Day (SSD) Finance, owning the end-to-end roadmap and governance. You will partner with BIE and Global Automation teams to build in-house tools that replace manual processes at scale.

You will drive data-driven decision making with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and establish a single source of truth for reporting across WBR, MEC, and OP cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience across finance and accounting roles.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, economics or related analytical field.
• MBA or CPA is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL and data tooling is a plus.
• Experience solving complex business challenges with financial models and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the SSD Finance automation roadmap end-to-end and drive execution over a 15-month horizon.
• Lead the SSD Reporting and Governance committee with intake standards and delivery accountability.
• Partner with SSD BIE and Global Automation teams to build in-house tools replacing manual processes at scale.
• Establish foundational data infrastructure so reporting runs from a single source of truth.
• Deploy AI-native planning capabilities to auto-generated narratives and summaries.
