The role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable initiatives to scale with the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes and creating escalation plans.
• 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with measurable impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements).
• MBA, or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance stakeholders across the USCF network to evaluate planning inputs, build analytical models, and ensure outputs generate sensible financial impacts.
• Dive deep into complex data to build analyses and financial narratives for senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities and implement large-scale financial solutions to improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes.
• Drive automation of planning modules by researching technical details, analyzing large datasets, and creating dynamic financial models for scenarios.
• Communicate finance topics clearly, enabling informed decisions while collaborating across organizations.
