The team works with sponsors, lenders and borrowers on acquisition financings, leveraged loans, direct lending and refinancings. Compensation ranges $235,000 to $410,000 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• JD with strong academic credentials.
• Class of 2019–2024.
• New York admission, or eligibility for admission.
• Experience in a leading law firm finance practice, including drafting and negotiating commitment letters, credit agreements, security agreements and related loan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commitment letters, credit agreements, security agreements and related financing documents.
• Advise on secured and unsecured lending matters, including UCC filings, perfection analysis and collateral issues.
• Run due diligence and manage transactions from signing through closing.
• Work directly with lenders, sponsors, borrowers and opposing counsel.
• Support complex domestic and international financing transactions.
• Senior associates lead deal execution and take the main client-facing role.

Finance Associate, Class of 2019-2024 | Am Law 20 Firm | New York | $235,000 to $410,000 + Bonus

An Am Law 20 firm is hiring finance associates in New York.

The team advises private equity sponsors, direct lenders, financial institutions and corporate borrowers on acquisition financings, leveraged loans, direct lending transactions and refinancings. Associates work on domestic and cross-border matters with direct client contact and deal execution responsibility.

Compensation

• Base salary of $235,000 to $410,000, based on class year
• Market bonus
