Job summary

Sysco Finance Associate supports OpCo operations in collaboration with Sysco Business Services to assist in resolving exceptions and issues. This role performs transactional or administrative finance duties to support the team.

The position partners with regional finance on the monthly close, works with FP accounting to ensure a timely, accurate close, and develops tools and processes across the organization while supporting cross-functional initiatives at local and corporate levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.
• Root-cause analysis skills for solving disputes or issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Region finance team in the monthly close process.
• Collaborate with FP accounting in the monthly process to ensure a timely accurate close.
• Develop and deploy tools and processes across the organization as business defines.
• Provide support cross-functionally with all departments on both local and corporate initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
