JOB SUMMARY

Kutak Rock seeks an Associate to join the Community Development Finance practice in our Omaha office. This dynamic role is ideal for an attorney with experience or interest in developing their knowledge and skills in a transactional practice, including community development finance, tax, real estate, and lending while working closely with experienced partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct due diligence and prepare diligence checklists and memoranda with respect to large real estate transactions


• Draft, review, and negotiate operating agreements, loan documents, leases, guarantees, opinions, and related commercial financial documents


• Coordinate transaction closing processes

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities

• Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills


• Possess a general working knowledge of classification of different entity formations structures such as partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations


• Strong organizational and matter management skills


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines

• Work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals and support staff
