Job summary

Matheny Medical and Educational Center is seeking a Full Time Finance Associate to handle accounting operations, regulatory reporting support, and cross-functional finance tasks. The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, asset accounting, month-end close, and backup coverage for AP and Billing.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in accounting/finance, 3 years of experience, and strong Excel/Blackbaud skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business required.
• Bachelor's degree or active progress toward one preferred.
• Three years of accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, AP, billing, or finance operations experience minimum.
• Must be able to work accurately with detailed financial information, follow procedures, and learn multiple processes.
• Excel and accounting-system proficiency required.
• Blackbaud or healthcare/nonprofit experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate sound judgment, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to protect confidential financial, resident, patient, and employee information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn and effectively use finance and operational systems are required.

The salary range for this position is $25.64 - 38.46 per pay hour.
