POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for an Accounting Associate to join our Corporate Finance and Accounting team. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for a variety of corporate accounting functions. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for processing accounts payable which will require being in our Hallowell Maine office. Other responsibilities include journal entry posting, depositing checks to bank, accounts receivable posting, account reconciliations, assisting with annual audit documentation collection as well as other clerical and accounting duties as necessary. In addition, he/she will serve as a backup to other finance staff when needed.

This is an entry-level position, ideal for a recent college or technical school graduate.

LOCATION AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

The primary location of this position is hybrid, at least 1-2 days per week in the office. This position may require periodic meetings, conferences, training, and other-business-related events held in various public places (e.g., hotel conference rooms).

PAY GRADE:

Grade 2(Maine pay range: $42,000-$53,000, non-exempt).
