Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Financial Assistant II to perform financial data entry, maintain accounting records, and provide general support to the Accounting department. The role requires an Associate’s Degree in finance, business or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities include updating financial records, posting general and accrual entries, and assisting with budgets and audits as necessary.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in finance, business or accounting required or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting or a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial data entry and maintain accounting records.
• Assist in preparing and posting general and accrual entries.
• Assist in settling budgets and supporting audits as needed.
• Maintain data, records, and reports and verify accuracy.
