Job summary

Highmark Health seeks a seasoned finance analyst to perform forecasting and trend analysis, prepare reports, and build dashboards using Power BI and MS Excel. You will develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases, present findings to management, and lead special financial projects with coordination across departments.

Ideal candidate has 5–10 years in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel/Access skills, and experience with Power BI. Office-based role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
5 - 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access.
Experience with Power BI.

Responsibilities

Perform financial and business related analyses and research including forecast preparation and trend analysis.
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to support analysis and reporting.
Communicate with management on project status, deadlines and analysis results.
Lead and document financial analysis projects including ad hoc reports and data gathering.
Coordinate activities to ensure projects advance and complete on time.
Provide reasoning for variances and recommendations regarding reserves, assets, and expenditures.
