Advocate Health is offering a remote internship in its Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development department. The 2027 summer program runs May 31 to August 6, with up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during business hours.

Remote work is available to residents in listed states, including Utah. Interns will develop automated Excel processes, review charges, and assist in financial analyses, budgeting, and revenue-cycle projects while gaining hands-on experience in

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• No prior experience required.
• Must maintain GPA of at least 2.5.

Mansioni

• Develop automated processes in Excel to minimize manual tasks.
• Review, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in charges; assist in adjustments for professional and hospital charges.
• Prepare financial and statistical analyses; extract and manipulate data for trend calculations and performance measurement.
• Participate in developing cost accounting and budgeting standards; assist in variance analyses.
• Support pricing and reimbursement analysis using costing methodologies and market data.
• Assist in preparing, communicating, and monitoring operating and capital budgets.
• Provide support for budgeting, finance, cost accounting and reporting activities.
• Apply government program and managed care rules and payment mechanisms to financial activities.
• Assist with charge reconciliation by reviewing charges in billing systems.
• Contribute to revenue cycle projects and follow-up activities.
• Track and update reports; assist with administrative duties and meetings.
• Participate in program/process development and respond to internal financial inquiries.
