Advocate Health offers a remote internship in the Enterprise Corporate - People & Culture Workforce Development. The internship runs May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri.

Remote work is allowed for residents of designated states, including UT. Prerequisites include currently pursuing a Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or related degree with junior or senior standing and a GPA of 2.5+.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Excel.

Mansioni

• Use Excel to develop automated processes to minimize manual effort.
• Review, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in charges; assist in making changes for professional and hospital charges.
• Prepare financial and statistical analysis for Advocate Health and affiliates; extract and manipulate data for trend calculations.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting and productivity standards and perform variance analysis.
• Prepare and monitor operating and capital budgets; support budgeting, finance, cost accounting and reporting.
• Apply government program rules and reimbursement information to financial activities.
• Assist charge reconciliation by reviewing charges in billing systems.
• Support revenue cycle projects including cash posting, insurance follow up, etc.
• Track and update reports; handle administrative duties and meetings.
• Participate in program/process development and internal financial reporting research.
