Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a hands-on Manager, Finance Analytics Engineering & Automation remote-friendly in the United States. You will drive the design and delivery of governed, reusable analytic data products and automated workflows to support FP&A and Finance stakeholders.

You will lead cross-functional teams, establish controls, and partner with Data Engineering to scale enterprise data platforms while ensuring reliable, auditable analytics and decision support.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in FP&A, finance analytics, analytics engineering, or related technical Finance role.
• Strong Finance or FP&A domain knowledge and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience building automated analytical workflows using Alteryx, Python, dbt, APIs, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own Finance analytics engineering and automation across Snowflake, SQL, workflow automation, controls, integrations, and downstream Finance consumption.
• Translate Finance requirements and approved business definitions into scalable technical solutions, collaborating with Finance Data & Analytics and Data Engineering.
• Build Finance-ready consumption views, analytical models, reconciliations, and reusable datasets for FP&A and Finance users.
• Perform hands-on SQL analysis, lineage tracing, impact assessment, and root-cause investigation across Finance data flows.
• Establish and automate technical controls for critical Finance processes including reconciliations and data-quality checks.
• Lead Finance automation and workflow engineering, setting standards for maintainability and production support.
