Job summary

Alteryx, Inc. seeks a hands-on manager at the intersection of Finance analytics engineering and automation. You will turn Finance requirements into trusted analytical data products, reusable consumption layers, and automated workflows, partnering with FP&A, Finance Data & Analytics, and Data Engineering.

You will lead the design and delivery of Finance-ready data assets, ensure governance and controls, and drive scalable solutions across Snowflake, SQL, and API integrations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A or finance analytics experience.
• Strong FP&A knowledge translating definitions into technical requirements.
• Strong SQL skills; Snowflake or similar cloud data platform.
• Ability to trace source data and validate results.
• Experience building analytics consumption layers.
• Experience building automated workflows using Alteryx, Python, dbt, APIs.
• Leadership or technical lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Finance analytics engineering and automation across Snowflake, SQL, and workflows.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical solutions with FP&A partners.
• Build Finance-ready consumption views and reusable datasets.
• Perform hands-on SQL analysis, lineage tracing, and impact assessment.
• Automate technical controls for reconciliations, data quality, and tests.
• Lead automation engineering with maintainability and production support.
• Partner with Data Engineering to ensure clean handoffs.
• Support AI-assisted Finance workflows and governance.
