Job summary

Kiewit’s Northern California District in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Finance Analyst Intern for Summer 2027. Based in the Northern California District, you will join a team handling project accounting tasks including cost controls, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.

You will contribute to month-end close processes and financial reporting for projects ranging from $1 million to $4 billion, gaining hands-on experience across cost and revenue components and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent degree.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 0-1 years of financial/data analysis experience.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Travel up to 25%?
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; Pivot Tables and V-Lookups are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial processes.
• Support month-end close and prepare financial reporting packages for project management.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations and project teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
