Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking finance interns for a 12-week, onsite internship in Port Hudson, LA this Summer 2027, running from mid-May to early August 2027. Interns will work within the finance team, addressing a key business challenge with guidance from their supervisor and a mentor, while collaborating with FP&A and operations.

The program provides hands-on experience in forecasting, benchmarking, and reporting, along with Excel modeling and data analytics to evolve finance processes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college degree program or alternative program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and broader teams across the organization.
• Assist with forecast and planning, benchmarking, gap analysis, and reporting activities in FP&A.
• Support evolution of finance processes and tools, including Excel modeling and data analytics.
• Adapt to evolving business needs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Provide data-driven insights as needed to the team.
