Penn Foster’s Financial Planning & Analysis team provides quantitative, analytical support for business decision-making. Members act as ambassadors to business leaders, linking strategic and operational planning. As a key member of the FP&A team, the Senior Financial Analyst will have high visibility with senior management and contribute to financial management. The role involves partnering with the Director of Corporate FP&A to analyze financial performance, establish budgets, support business decisions, and improve FP&A tools and processes. Essential Job Functions:

1. Partner with executives and department leads to create annual budgets and reforecasts.
2. Collaborate with the VP and Director of FP&A on implementing scalable budgeting and forecasting tools.
3. Develop dashboards and analytical tools to measure financial performance and provide actionable insights.
4. Perform variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
5. Ensure data integrity and manage reporting improvements.
6. Participate in strategic financial modeling.
7. Analyze product line performance and profitability trends.
8. Perform other ad hoc analyses as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant financial or FP&A experience.
• 2+ years of financial modeling experience.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• Knowledge of FP&A platforms and ERP systems like D365 is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
