ABB Greece is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide financial insights for the assigned organization, analyzing metrics, trends and proposing actions to improve performance.

You will work with Finance, Sales and Operations to support reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting, ensuring data accuracy and driving automation where possible. The role is hybrid with collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in financial controlling, accounting, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and financial reporting tools.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficient in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial knowledge to your assigned organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze various relevant metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also demonstrate your knowledge by suggesting actions that can improve the financial performance of a specific business. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role contributes to ABB’s business operations in Greece, supporting financial analysis, reporting, and business performance improvement. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with the Finance team, Sales teams, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders across the organization. Performs analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast, and accordingly proposes improvement actions. Works with other finance professionals to understand and analyze the drivers of financial performance of the organization and identify trends. Prepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and the overall impact to the business unit. Supports the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization. Validates the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliations and review of exceptions. Provides information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Optimizes their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements. Ensures processes and controls within area of responsibility, are designed and implemented in line with internal policies and regulations. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/external audits and reviews. Participates in ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives, improving data quality, standardization, and optimization of financial processes through data analysis, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Требования:

You are highly skilled in financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a solid understanding of financial performance drivers.

You have demonstrated experience in financial controlling, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.

You possess advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, as well as financial reporting and data analysis tools.

You have an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous process improvement.

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

You are comfortable communicating in English and Greek, both verbally and in writing.

You demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
