Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance AI & Automation to lead AI-enabled finance transformations and drive measurable profitability improvements. You’ll partner with GPG Finance, FP&A, IT, and Data teams to redesign workflows, deploy AI-enabled solutions, and deliver value across close, reporting, and controls.

This hands-on role requires strong finance knowledge, automation experience, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical implementations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of AI and data concepts, including generative AI and agentic approaches.
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes (close, SOX, FP&A) and data flows.
• Experience leading process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with IT, data, or analytics teams.
• Proven ability to execute cross-functional projects and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and Prioritize Opportunities within the Finance team based on impact, repeatability, feasibility, scalability, and other considerations.
• Own Delivery of Prioritized Finance AI Use Cases, Leading Execution from Concept to Production; execute pilots and scale successful solutions.
• Translate Business Needs into Solutions, Redesign End-to-End Finance Processes; act as a bridge between Finance, IT, and Data teams.
• Ensure Controls, Compliance, and Audit Readiness by embedding SOX and governance into AI-enabled workflows.
• Drive Adoption and Sustained Impact with training materials and best practices; monitor usage and effectiveness.
