Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Manager for the CFO Accounting Advisory practice within Financial Accounting Advisory Services. The role delivers practical financial reporting improvements for CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors across industries, combining technical GAAP analysis with hands-on process optimization.

You will supervise staff, interact with senior leadership, and help grow client relationships while pursuing new business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit or financial advisory
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA or CMA certification
• GAAP advisory knowledge and application
• Experience with Middle Market financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct) and data consolidation
• Strong modeling and Excel skills with ability to generate data-driven insights
• Ability to travel (~25%) and work in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Participate in GAAP Advisory, Business Analytics and Decision Support, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Transaction Support, and Program/Project Management engagements
• Supervise, develop and train staff on engagements and participate in hands-on project work
• Interact with senior managers and partners on client and engagement management matters
• Strengthen client relationships and pursue new business opportunities via excellent client service
• Communicate with owners, executives, investors, lenders to ensure delivery of high-quality service
• Engage in professional development through training and networking events
• Assist with recruiting activities and campus recruiting along with internal referral programs
• Demonstrate teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards
