Lumen’s Finance & Accounting Rotational Program (FAR) invites you to launch your career at the intersection of finance, technology, and business transformation. As a FAR Analyst, you will rotate across FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and more, building financial models, dashboards, and strategic insights.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements, leverage data and AI-enabled tools, and develop leadership and business acumen during a two‑year, high‑visibility

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree prior to start date.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and willingness to embrace change.
• Interest in shaping the future of Finance through business transformation, data‑driven decision making, and emerging technology.

Responsibilities

• Complete rotational assignments across Finance & Accounting functions including FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit, and Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain.
• Identify and support opportunities to simplify, automate, or redesign Finance processes that improve efficiency, reporting, decision-making, and operational performance.
• Build financial models, reports, and analyses using Excel and data visualization platforms.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable business insights.
• Develop and deliver presentations that translate complex concepts into compelling business stories and clear recommendations for stakeholders and leaders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve business challenges and support strategic initiatives.
• Utilize emerging technologies, including automation and AI-enabled tools, to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support business outcomes while exercising sound business judgment.
• Demonstrate initiative, ownership, adaptability, and continuous learning while contributing to a high‑performing team environment.
