Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls.

You will oversee the general ledger, Workday, and other financial systems, support policy development, and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders. CPA not required but preferred; 5+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Required).
• Strong financial analysis and accounting policy knowledge.
• Ability to learn, implement and train others on accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee accounting operations for domestic and international subsidiaries and manage the general ledger (Workday).
• Support technical accounting research and development/implementation of accounting policies.
• Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely filing of statements.
• Manage cash management and cash flow forecasting; monitor cash balances.
