Job summary

CNA is looking for a student or early-career finance enthusiast to assist budget planning and financial tracking. You will use Costpoint and Cognos to gather data, prepare basic analyses, and support forecasting under supervision.

You’ll participate in reports, charts, and simple financial modeling while supporting the contracts team and maintaining confidentiality. This role offers telecommuting or hybrid options, with learning opportunities in CNA's CFO department.

Qualifications

• Must be in junior or senior year of bachelor’s degree or enrollment in a graduate program.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or economics; GPA 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and communication skills.
• US citizenship required.
• Remote or hybrid work eligibility as determined by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist project accounting and financial planning with routine tasks and data gathering.
• Support meetings, reports, charts, and basic financial analyses.
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and simple models.
• Support contracts team with basic contracts administration and pricing.
• Maintain confidentiality and learn about financial processes.
• Provide excellent customer support.
