Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation offers a paid Finance + Accounting Internship Program designed to develop emerging talent through hands-on exposure to finance and accounting in a manufacturing environment. Interns will support projects in financial planning and analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.

Fall and Spring internships must be at least 12 weeks; Summer internships must be at least 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Demonstrated leadership through projects, student orgs, or internships.
• Interest in working in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, organization, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with financial data, reports, schedules, and business systems.
• Willingness to learn finance processes, accounting principles, and Parker operations.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A activities, including reporting, schedules, and data review.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation.
• Support record retention, audit support, and internal control documentation.
• Learn Parker finance systems, accounting tools, and reporting applications.
• Analyze financial or operational data to support decisions and improvements.
• Participate in finance-related projects and internal initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, operations, and other teams.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and mentorship sessions to build skills.
