Job summary

CNA Corporation is hiring a Finance/Accounting intern for Summer 2027 to explore corporate finance by supporting budgeting, forecasting, monthly close activities, and preparing reconciliations. The role offers a rotation through various CFO departments to build hands-on experience and sharpen analytical skills.

Interns will gain exposure to Costpoint and COGNOS, assist with financial analyses, and develop foundational financial modeling under supervision in a collaborative, merit-based

Qualifications

• Candidate must be in junior or senior year of bachelor's degree or enrolled in a graduate program.
• Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance or economics; GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong communication skills are required.
• US citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist project accounting and financial planning teams with routine tasks and data gathering.
• Support meetings and prepare reports, charts, and basic financial analyses.
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and simple financial models under supervision.
• Support contracts team with basic contracts administration and pricing.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and perform other duties to learn financial processes.
• Provide excellent customer support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
