Job summary

Centro Escolar University is offering a 10-week internship in San Diego focused on Finance, Accounting, and data analytics. You will manage an end-to-end project tied to a real business priority, using AI tools to accelerate research while validating outputs and applying your judgment.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, develop critical thinking, and present outcomes to senior stakeholders at program end. Strong data literacy and Excel/Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business, or a related field, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Demonstrated interest in commercial real estate, finance, accounting, data, or technology through coursework, clubs, prior work, research, or projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Adaptability and learning agility to thrive in changing environments.
• Data literacy and interest in using data and analytics for insights and decision-making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Active user of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) with understanding of their benefits and limitations.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take ownership of work.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Own one end-to-end project tied to a real business priority, such as analyzing portfolio performance, improving reporting or close processes, evaluating workflows, or building models or tools for ongoing use.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, and analysis while validating outputs and applying your own judgment.
• Collaborate across departments and with business stakeholders to advance work.
• Develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and a digital-first mindset applied to real business challenges.
• Present your project outcomes to senior stakeholders at the end of the program.
