Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Lead Finance and Accounting Analyst to drive reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis in a shared services environment. You will lead monthly close, consolidations, and accruals while delivering executive dashboards with actionable insights for senior leadership.

The role partners across functions to support quarterly forecasts, business development, and pricing initiatives, focusing on automation and modernization of reporting and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills are essential.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Profit and Loss analysis including variances to forecasts.
• Review earned/unbilled reconciliations for accuracy and corrections.
• Track and review monthly project billing and accounts receivable.
• Develop monthly financial dashboards for VP-level stakeholders.
• Assist in pricing analyses for new and expanding projects.
