Job summary

Custom Control Sensors, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Final Quality Inspector to verify finished product conformance, prepare and maintain AS9102 FAIRs, process customer warranty returns, and ensure shipment documentation is complete and properly certified.

This role sits at the critical interface between manufacturing completion and product release, ensuring products meet engineering, customer, regulatory, and quality management requirements before inventory or shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in manufacturing inspection, quality control, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Working knowledge of dimensional inspection equipment and basic measurement techniques.
• Proficiency with computers, electronic recordkeeping, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and meet production deadlines without compromising product conformity.

Responsibilities

• Final Product Acceptance Inspection against drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Verify completion and acceptance of manufacturing operations, testing, and inspection activities.
• Review travelers, ATPs, inspection records, and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Confirm product identification, revisions, serials, and traceability.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming products per procedures.
• Record results and apply inspection stamps or signatures.
• Prevent release of products with discrepancies.
