Job summary

Modern Industries, Inc. is seeking a Visual Inspector for the Final Packaging on the 2nd shift in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on visual inspection and ensuring packaging quality for manufactured goods, with emphasis on conformity to specifications.

The position requires 1–3 years of inspection experience (-preferred) and a High School Diploma or GED. The candidate will inspect goods as they are finished and document results, with on-site scheduling Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–1am and an 8% shift

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1–3 years of inspection experience preferred.
Preference to have visual inspecting experience with semiconductor/aerospace products and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Perform visual inspection.
Ensure quality of manufactured goods.
Inspect goods as they are finished.
Examine materials from production line before packaging product.
Ensure company is meeting required specifications in the manufacturing process.
Record pass/fail grade of products.
Count number of products tested or inspected.
Weigh product and samples to verify packaging weight.
Compare color, shape, texture, or grade of material with color chart, template, or sample to ensure consistency.
Package product as needed.
