Job summary

Printpack Inc. seeks an Inspector I to perform thorough visual inspections and packaging tasks in a manufacturing setting. You will verify product quality against customer specs and standards, label and package items, and help maintain a clean, organized work area.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to safety and GMP-like requirements, with a night shift and potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience a plus.
• Required Skills: Ability to understand technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to quickly identify and sort finished product.
• Basic computer use is required.
• Problem Solving Skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough visual inspections of products according to customer specifications.
• Identify defects based on established quality standards.
• Monitor product consistency and conformity to requirements.
• Escalate quality defects to Quality Lead as appropriate.
• Pack products according to specified procedures.
• Apply appropriate labels and packaging materials.
• Ensure proper product orientation and arrangement.
• Participate in safety improvement programs/projects including BBSOs and 5S events.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area.
