Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Welding experience.
• Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.
• Basic Heavy Duty Truck Knowledge.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welding & metalwork using MIG welding and plasma cutting equipment to join steel components.
• Fasten metal components through drilling and bolting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide welding and assembly tasks.
• Install vehicle components and accessories with precision, using calibrated measuring tools.
• Test installed components for functionality and safety.
• Master mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Operate equipment and cross-train across departments.
• Maintain accurate time records and documentation.
• Support APS initiatives and participate in improvement events.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
