Job summary

Altec is seeking personnel to install unit vehicle components and accessories, interpret schematics and work orders, and test installed parts. The role requires reading blueprints, tapes, and maintaining safety and quality standards within a fast-paced plant environment.

In this on-site Minnesota position, you will learn and operate equipment in the cell, support APS initiatives, and participate in cross-training across areas to meet production needs while adhering to attendance policies.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and comprehend.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and orders.
• Basic computer usage.
• Must be able to read tape measures, blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install unit vehicle components and accessories.
• Read and interpret schematics and work orders.
• Test installed components.
• Move to other work areas to support production needs (cross-train).
• Maintain clean and safe work area and tools.
• Follow safety, environmental and quality policies.
