Job summary

IES Infrastructure Solutions in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Final Assembler to join a small, 3-4 person production team. This non-exempt position reports to the Production Supervisor and requires capable manual skills in assembly and installation of panels.

You will measure, cut, and install Rockwool insulation and perforated sheet metal, interpret basic prints, and use clamps, impact drivers, and drills to secure components. A commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in assembly, construction, drywall, framing, or a related field preferred.
  • Basic understanding of reading and interpreting prints or drawings.
  • Basic welding experience or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

  • Install panels as part of the assembly process, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.

  • Perform Bat installation (pink insulation) to specified requirements.
  • Use clamps to hold materials in place and impact drivers or drills to fasten hardware as needed.
  • Drape plastic as required to protect components or areas during installation.
  • Work with perforated sheet metal, ensuring accurate installation and finishing.
  • Collaborate with a 3-4-person team to complete assembly tasks on time and to required quality standards.
  • Interpret basic prints and assembly instructions to complete the work accurately.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Title: Final Assembler
Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, drywall, or framing, with a basic understanding of prints. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of panels, measuring and cutting insulation, and ensuring all components are correctly installed and securely fastened.
