Fin Press Operator - Coil - 2nd Shift (Finance)

The Fin Press Operator is a member of the assembly team responsible for operating the Fin Press safely and following standard work procedures. This role involves working as part of the larger plant assembly team and may include flexing to different departments or work stations based on volume needs. Knowledge & Skills

Machine operators set up, operate, and maintain machinery in a manufacturing setting. They ensure high-quality product output, smooth operation at capacity, and proper maintenance of equipment.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Set up machinery for operation
2. Use analytical and numerical skills to perform mathematical calculations in various units of measure
3. Start machinery and make adjustments to improve performance
4. Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions
5. Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance
6. Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisors
7. Comply with all safety and health regulations
8. Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area
9. Maintain quality standards
10. Meet daily productivity requirements

Working Conditions
