Job description

We are hiring a Press Operator for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a #3 Press Operator, you will be responsible for working as a member of our Core Publishing Solutions team providing operational management and technical support. You will operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses.

For this role, you would also be eligible for $2,400 in bonuses upon being in the role for 90 days.

Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota

• 2nd shift – 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm
• Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts

About the Role:

• Assist the crew on the press, perform setup and production activities, typically on the back-end of the presses to ensure smooth operation
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by reading the DSR and job specifications, staging materials
• Quality check products, complete transactions, bundle and tag products
• Fill in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed, including covering absences or breaks
• Monitor equipment and product quality, maintain work area and equipment, document activities in Tier Boards and relevant systems (MII, SAP)
• Use safety equipment, report hazards, attend safety and environmental training

About You:

• High School Diploma or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred
• Experience in an industrial setting with production machinery is desired
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, competent with measurement tools
• Understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices
• Ability to lift at least 5 lbs above shoulder level and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Regular standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, and kneeling

The hourly pay range for US locations is $18 - $33, with potential for bonuses based on performance. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and internal equity, and is part of a comprehensive total rewards package.
